Non Woven Squezee Rolls

For Textile Wet Processing & Finishing Lines

Nonwoven Squeezing Rolls are advanced industrial rolls engineered for textile wet processing, including dyeing, washing, padding, bleaching, and finishing operations.
Manufactured using high-performance nonwoven fiber structures bonded with specialized polymers, these rolls provide superior liquid handling, uniform pressure distribution, and extended service life compared to conventional rubber rolls.
Designed to operate reliably under high nip loads, continuous wet
conditions, and variable fabric types
, nonwoven rolls deliver consistent squeezing performance and improved process stability

Construction

Nonwoven squeezing rolls are manufactured on a CNC precision-machined steel core to ensure strength and accurate alignment.Especially engineered nonwoven fabric are built up on the core and mounted on shaft to achieve the required elasticity, compressive strength, and resistance to water, chemicals, and heat. This construction creates a microporous roll body that provides uniform pressure distribution and controlled liquid absorption and release. The roll is finally ground to the specified diameter and surface finish, ensuring consistent squeezing performance and long service life in textile wet processing applications.

Applications in Textile Industry

Nonwoven squeezing rolls are widely used in:
  • Padding mangles

  • Dyeing machines

  • Washing & rinsing lines

  • Bleaching ranges

  • Finishing & coating machines

  • Desizing and mercerizing lines

  • Suitable for:

  • Cotton

  • Polyester

  • Knitted & woven textiles

  • Bleaching ranges

  • Delicate and technical fabrics

Productivity Improvement for Textile Mills

Using nonwoven squeezing rolls directly improves mill efficiency:

Case Study

Significant Steam & Energy Savings Before Stenter
When nonwoven squeezing rolls are installed in the mangle before the stenter, they extract
substantially more free water from the fabric compared to conventional rubber rolls. The
uniform nip pressure and superior liquid release of nonwoven rolls ensure lower and more consistent moisture pick-up entering the stenter. With less water to evaporate, drying chambers require considerably lower steam input, reducing thermal load and improving heat efficiency.

Direct Benefits to the Mill:

01

Noticeable reduction in steam consumption per running meter

02

Faster drying and improved stenter throughput

03

Lower operating temperatures for the same drying results

04

Reduced stress on boilers and heating systems

05

More stable fabric width and finish due to uniform pre-drying

06

Lower energy cost per batch and improved sustainability metrics

By minimizing moisture carryover into the stenter, nonwoven squeezing rolls help textile processors achieve energy-efficient drying, higher productivity, and long-term cost savings, making them a superior alternative to rubber rolls in modern wet processing lines.
